The Rise of Esports

In recent times, esports players and viewers have skyrocketed in members.  Competitive esports has made an appearance at both the college level and the professional level.  According to NACE (The National Association of College Esports), there are currently 170 schools with over 5,000 players across the United States.

There are several popular games that are played within esports, such as:

• League of Legends

• Fortnite

• Super Smash Bros

• Hearthstone
